The PulFlex project, formed by Birka Composites, the German research institute Fraunhofer (IGCV) and the company specialized in composite material projects Cikoni (Germany), aims to develop and manufacture thermoplastic profiles in composite material using the Dual Pull Braiding production process developed by Birka, to be used in the manufacture of insulating crossarms for medium and low voltage lines, and to offer alternative solutions to the metal structures currently used in the energy sector.
This project is co-financed by CDTI and the European Union funds through the Horizon Europe programme.
